Summer time at The Big-Lake Lodge

A huge, beautiful home, with a gorgeous location right on Lake Champlain. Positive: Beautiful, spacious home right on the lake. The views from the deck and beach access are absolutely stunning. The hosts were responsive and very accommodating.

The property is elegantly rustic, beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Very well stocked for bathrooms, Laundry, games, televisions, etc. Great Kitchen.We were bookending attendance at a family wedding about 45 minutes away from the property. Very relaxing and beautiful views of the Lake and surrounding hills and forests.The access to the house and then to the Lake are a series of steps that are pretty long and deep. Not well suited to children under the age of 7 or 8 or for anyone with concerns about lots of steps.Remote and somewhat challenging navigation at night to access from the highway.All in all delightful but not for folks with accessibility issues.

We enjoyed our time. Getting to sit on the back porch and play corn hole and listening to the waves crash into shore was amazing. It was very quiet and peaceful stay. Would defiantly let friends know to stay.
